Linda Bronson grew up on the hustling bustling Jersey Shore. She spent her summers at the beach covering her brother up to his neck in sand and decorating him to look like a starfish. At home she played dress up and ran around the backyard pretending to be wonder woman. Her mom taught her how to draw. She had lots of picture books.

At school Linda daydreamed and doodled instead of listening to her lessons. She thought school ought to be about painting, drawing and dreaming things up. It wasn't until she went to art college at the Rhode Island School of Design that she truly blossomed.
"Suddenly, I was expected to spend all of my time making art! What a treat! I was like a kid in a candy shop! I took so many interesting classes .... everything from photography and graphic design to stained glass and ceramics! I learned that an artist could make a career out of doing what they love!"
Nowadays, you can find Linda's paintings in picture books, magazines, advertisements, posters and greeting cards. She thinks she has the worlds best job!
A couple years ago, while Linda was happily painting up a storm in her studio, there was a knock at the door. It was Prince Charming .....his name was Charlie. Before long the Prince and the Artist were married!
Charlie and Linda like to spend their free time taking long walks in the woods, kayaking, cross country skiing (especially after big snow storms when the world is covered in vanilla frosting) and having as many picnics as possible! |
